Í ár fagnar kirkjan ári hl. Frans. Í tilefni þess skipuleggur Biskupsdæmið pílagrímsferð í fótspor þessa dýrlings.
Ferðaáætlunin er eftirfarandi: Róm, förum m.a. á almenna áheyrn Leó páfa, Bagnoreggio, Bolsena, La Verna, Montefalco, Assisi, Greccio, Cassia.
7. september – 14. september. Beint flug til og frá Róm. Á Ítalíu ferðumst við saman í rútu. Í verðinu er innifalinn morgunverður og kvöldverður, auk hótelgistingar og rútuferða.
Tveggja manna herbergi kostar 1.280 evrur á mann, eins manns herbergi kostar 1.570 evrur á mann. Verð fyrir flug fram og til baka er 95 þúsund krónur. Einnig þarf að greiða aðgangseyrir að söfnum og hádegisverði.
Best er að skrá sig hjá sóknarpresti ykkar.

This year the Church celebrates the Year of St. Francis. On this occasion, the Diocese is organizing a pilgrimage in the footsteps of this saint.
The itinerary is as follows: Rome, including the general audience of Pope Leo, Bagnoreggio, Bolsena, La Verna, Montefalco, Assisi, Greccio, Cassia.
September 7 – September 14. Direct flights to and from Rome. In Italy we travel together by bus. The price includes breakfast and dinner, as well as hotel accommodation and bus travel.
A double room costs 1,280 euros per person, a single room costs 1,570 euros per person. The price for a round-trip flight is 95.000.- ISK. Entrance fees to museums and lunch must also be paid.

W tym roku w kościele mamy rok świętego Franciszka. Będzie diecezjalna pielgrzymka śladami tego świętego.

7.IX -14.IX, Wspólny lot do i z Rzymu, we Włoszech poruszamy się wspólnym autobusem. W cenie są wliczone poza hotelami i autobusem, śniadania i kolacje w hotelach.
Za pokój dwuosobowy 1280 euro, za pokój jednoosobowy 1570 euro. Wstępna cena za samolot w obie strony to 95 tysięcy. Na miejsce tez będą jakieś wejścia do muzeum, czy obiady.
