The World Youth Day (WYD) will be held in Lisbon, Portugal August 1st – 6th 2023
World Youth Day (WYD) is a gathering of young people from all over the world with the Pope. It is also a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and a great moment of evangelization for the youth of the world. Although the Catholic identity of this gathering is clearly evident, it opens its doors to everyone, no matter how close or far people are from the Church.
The Diocese of Reykjavík invites all young people between the ages of 18 and 35 to join us on the pilgrimage from August 1 to 6, 2023. We will soon publish more information about registration on our website, catholica.is
