Prayer in remembrance of Pope emeritus Benedict XVI
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Priests and Sisters,
With sadness in my heart but at the same time in the belief that God’s will is the best for us, we received news of the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
To show our love for him, we do the following:
– On Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 10.00, if possible, we ring church bells
and invite people to pray a short prayer together, for example: The Sorrowful Rosary
or litany to the Heart of Jesus and so on, for his soul.
– All priests are obliged to read one Mass for the deceased Pope.
