Plenary Assembly of the Nordic Bishop´s Concerence

This week, March 16 – 20, 2026, two major events will take place in the St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Stykkishólmur in West-Iceland: the Plenary Assembly of the Nordic Bishops’ Conference and the Congress of the Nordic Catechetical Departments.

Everyone is cordially invited to the first Holy Mass today, 16 March with the Cardinal and bishops at 8:00 PM in our parish church in Stykkishólmur. From Tuesday to Thursday, those who can, can attend Mass at 7:30 AM and Vespers at 5:30 PM.
