Nell Brandenburg, who worked in St. Mary´s Church in Breiðholt from 1997 to 2008 and is also well known for her selfless work for the Focolare community in Iceland, died on April 19 in the Netherlands.
Friday evening, on April 26, Bishop David Tencer and Fr. Denis O’Leary, parish priest of St. Mary’s Church, celebrated a funeral Mass for Nell in St. Mary’s Church.
Nell’s funeral took place in the Netherlands on Monday, April 29.
